This beautiful and quirky hotel celebrates the beat novelists with unique decorations that create a fun, artistic atmosphere. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from tourist spots like Chinatown and Union Square. I particularly appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. Irene at the front desk really stood out for her dedication. The only downside was the small refrigerator filled with hotel items, making it tough to store personal snacks.

The staff was attentive, and I appreciated the quick check-in. The room was well-appointed with a Nespresso machine and a cozy atmosphere. The yoga class and cocktail-making session were highlights of my visit, adding a personal touch to the experience.

We had a fantastic time exploring the vibrant city with the hotel as our base. My favorite moment was discovering local spots through their unique self-guided tour options, which allowed us to experience San Francisco away from the usual tourist paths. Plus, we loved the artistic vibe and cool décor throughout the hotel.
My kids wished there were more activities tailored for family fun during our stay. An improved family lounge area would enhance the experience for those traveling with children.

Oh man, the nearby dining scene is pure gold! Lori's Diner is just a hop, skip, and jump away, serving up delicious breakfast that hits the spot. Not to mention, the Regal Beagle bar is a cozy hangout with an awesome vibe! Plus, the location is spot-on for wandering around San Francisco. Can’t forget about the super friendly staff who make you feel right at home.
Also, the lack of an exhaust fan in the bathroom was a drag, and we hustled for extra towels a few times. Still, the stay was pretty stellar overall.

The vibrant decor set a fantastic atmosphere, complemented by a complimentary Sangria at check-in. Staff were incredibly accommodating, even allowing us an early check-in for our special trip and providing delicious drink tickets for the bar. The complimentary water station and cookies added a nice personal touch. Only downside was the small elevator and flat pillows.

I had a pleasant experience during my stay. I appreciated the early check-in process and the warm welcome from the staff. The room I stayed in had a Nespresso machine, a nice touch for my morning routine, and I enjoyed the cool decorations throughout the hotel, which added character. Being close to various restaurants made it easy to explore local dining options.
I wished the fitness center was inside the hotel. It was inconvenient to find out I had to walk to a gym down the street for my workout.

missingWrote a review on 08 Maytiny elevator
The elevator is a serious bottleneck and feels like a claustrophobic steel trap—barely big enough for one person and a luggage cart. The fridge in the room is packed with overpriced drinks, so if you plan on using it for your own snacks, prepare to clear out the hotel’s items. Additionally, shower water can be lukewarm during peak use times, and the lighting in the room is lackluster, which can make it a bit of a drag when you’re trying to kick back and relax.
