My deluxe double room with comfortable king bed, great design, 2 Queen beds was uniquely decorated and good-sized. The location of the hotel was marvellous - within walking distance of Chinatown. The staff was outstandingly accommodating and pleasant, everything was good.
My room had not so great view.

This beautiful and quirky hotel celebrates the beat novelists with unique decorations that create a fun, artistic atmosphere. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from tourist spots like Chinatown and Union Square. I particularly appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. Irene at the front desk really stood out for her dedication. The only downside was the small refrigerator filled with hotel items.

Nice room, nice relaxed atmosphere in hotel. Good central location near Union Square etc
The only thing wrong was the slightly cracked sink in the bathroom (Don't know how long had it had been like that)

The staff was attentive, and I appreciated the quick check-in. The room was well-appointed with a Nespresso machine and a cozy atmosphere. The yoga class and cocktail-making session were highlights of my visit.
Third-floor water dispenser was broken.

Location is excellent, staff are friendly and helpful, the ambience is welcoming and "individual". I enjoyed the feeling that I was staying in a place unique to San Francisco, rather than a big chain hotel which could be located in any city.

My favorite moment was discovering local spots through their unique self-guided tour options, which allowed us to experience San Francisco away from the usual tourist paths. Plus, we loved the artistic vibe and cool décor throughout the hotel.
My kids wished there were more activities tailored for family fun . An improved family lounge area would enhance the experience for those traveling with children.

Oh man, the nearby dining scene is pure gold! Lori's Diner is just a hop, skip, and jump away, serving up delicious breakfast that hits the spot. Not to mention, the Regal Beagle bar is a cozy hangout with an awesome vibe! Plus, the location is spot-on for wandering around San Francisco. Can't forget about the super friendly staff.
The lack of an exhaust fan in the bathroom was a drag, and we hustled for extra towels a few times. Still, the stay was pretty stellar overall.

The vibrant decor set a fantastic atmosphere, complemented by a complimentary Sangria at check-in. Staff were accommodating, even allowing us an early check-in for our special trip and providing delicious drink tickets for the bar. The complimentary water station and cookies added a nice personal touch.
